National Space Club
The National Space Club was founded to stimulate the exchange of ideas and information about rocketry and astronautics, as well as to recognize U.S. achievements in space. The club is a nonprofit corporation comprised of representatives from industry, government, educational institutions and private individuals. The Huntsville chapter was founded in 1985 to further the National Space Club’s local interests. It founded and sponsors annually the Dr. Wernher von Braun Memorial Dinner and proceeds from this dinner are distributed throughout the ensuing year for student scholarships and to organizations involved in STEM education activities. TekFive is proud to be a member of Huntsville’s National Space Club.
